Datamolino's five-feature overview from 2022
The January 2022 overview covered automatic PDF splitting, separate automation settings for different workflows, detailed invoice data, basic invoice approval and smaller bookkeeping helpers. It recorded an early stage of the approval feature. The splitting mentioned here separated invoices within a PDF.

What the overview covered
The original post, published on 21 January 2022, was a short index of five product themes:
- PDF splitting. A single file containing several invoices could be separated into individual documents, including invoices that ran across more than one page.
- Separate automation settings. The article described organising work around a project, location, company branch or department.
- Detailed invoice data. Capture included the invoice description, tax breakdown and line-item detail.
- Invoice approval. At the time, the article described basic approval scenarios for a small business and plans to improve them from customer feedback.
- Bookkeeping helpers. The final theme was the smaller controls used in day-to-day document preparation.
Use the current task guides
The short overview did not explain how to configure those features. For an existing PDF containing several invoices, use the automatic PDF splitting guide. For a broader set of tasks, start with bookkeeping tasks you can automate.
The current approval guide covers the workflow available today. It replaces the early feature description as the place to plan a new approval setup.
