We’re presenting at IBM Insight 2014 – Drop That Invoice!

Next Monday we’ll be presenting at the IBM Insight Conference in Las Vegas and it’a real thrill to be invited! Datamolino uses IBM Datacap technology to capture the information from invoices, bills and receipts, and the conference is a chance to show the broader IBM community exactly what we’re achieving with our software service. The event is huge (check out their infographic below), and with over 13 000 attendees it’s the largest big data conference in the world! Our presentation is part of the Enterprise Content Management program and is titled – Drop That Invoice! The New Solution For Accounts Payable Automation. Our session will demonstrate how businesses and accountants can transform their AR/AP processing through advanced document capture and automation processes. We’re really proud of what we have built with the IBM technology, and even more proud to be associated with such a respected industry leader. Now is our chance to tell the world how accountants and SMEs can save time and money by automating their AP processing, AND have a secure storage platform to quickly retrieve all their documents too! If you’re heading to the conference please come and say hi or tweet us, if you can’t make it then you can follow the event at IBM InsightGO.  More posts from the conference!

The Aftermath

Insight was a thrilling experience for Datamolino and we had a great week meeting the wider IBM community in the U.S. It was a proud moment being able to show how we developed Datamolino into a sophisticated piece of software from Datacap technology. The main point of the conference was a focus on big data – how to harness more more data from more interactions to better facilitate decisions with insight and predictive analysis. IBM announced their partnership with Twitter and made a big splash about their new big data analytics tool called Watson Analytics.

Insight identified the collection of data from unstructured into structured formats as a key element in the transformation of businesses into the big data world. This is precisely where Datamolino fits in, turning bills, invoices and receipts into a searchable online archive. The conference revealed that it is impossible for businesses to make sense of what’s ahead if they don’t work with their data. This includes being able to access it quickly and have it in a useable format. This is the immediate future for Datamolino, providing fast access to data thanks to AR/AP automation, and being able to implement it for analysis with one click integration. IBM Insight was more validation for us as we grow our business with new features, markets and customers, and we look forward to next year!
