After the first day at the Shift Conference in Split yesterday, I wanted to share some words of wisdom I learnt from an impressive presentation by Marcus Segal. Marcus was most recently the COO of social game company Zynga, he spent six years there and was instrumental in its success.
Since we started Datamolino we have been focussed on validating every aspect of our product. We work hard to ensure our ideas, and their implementation, are accurate and have worth. Put simply, validation for any enterprise comes in the form of data that shows how potential risks have been managed.
Our team was part of the Slovak Startup Awards 2013 and we have won the public voting for best startup by a large margin. The prize was a BMW X5 for a week – our coders will sure enjoy taking it for a spin.

Project DataMolino is our logical step after our successful project by square. With by square we have standardise the encoding of payment and invoice data into QR codes, saving hours for consumers when initiating invoice payments and providing much needed accuracy for accountants when processing incoming invoices.
